Fiat Freakout 2010.

We had a great 2010 event at the Biltmore in Asheville, NC! Fiat North America stepped up big time with sponsorship, having an exhibit where they served up espresso, cappuccino, San Pellegrino and gelato for the kids (even us big kids). there were many events, including a drive through the "tail of the dragon" at Deals Gap. Our very own Janel Bailey and John Kristoff took home awards at the Saturday Concours, including an Ohio Valley Chapter first: Best of Show. And Matt Brannon won an appreciation award for his support of FLU through his business, Midwest-Bayless, which was also a major sponsor of the event.

Italian Gathering

We had a great time participating in the Italian Gathering car show in Columbus, Ohio, on September 6, 2009. There were FLU members from Ohio Valley as well as Western Michigan. It was a really nice day, and the Fiats from coming out in force. Matt Brannon, owner of Midwest-Bayless, won first place in with a customer's X1/9 in which he transplanted an Acura RSX drivetrain. It was gorgeous!

Atwood Lake Drive and Get Together

There are some wonderful roads in Southern Ohio. We met in New Philidelphia and spent an hour driving on the local roads. Thanks to Pete and Beth De Witt for hosting us for wine and cheese at their lake front house, where we also took a pontoon ride to see the lake. We then spent another hour driving the local roads before having dinner at a wonderful Italian restaurant -- Uncle Primo's. What a wonderful day!
